Can you hear the military training area?

There are several military training areas in the Lüneburg Heath.

Disturbances may occur at times, especially in the early and late seasons. Unfortunately, Südsee-Camp has no influence over this and cannot be held liable for such disturbances.

However, on most days of the year, you will not notice the exercises at all, especially at weekends and in midsummer.

The positive thing about the training areas is that the surrounding nature is partly very untouched, resulting in a particularly diverse range of flora and fauna.

However, please observe the signs when walking and do not leave the public paths near the training areas. It is also prohibited to enter the military training area during restricted hours. The current closing times of the military training area can be found either here or posted in the main reception window.
