Instead of a traditional travel cancellation insurance, we offer you our cancellation protection. We strongly recommend that you select this optional cancellation protection directly when booking. The cost is just 2% of the total price of your booking.
The cancellation protection is valid from the time of booking until departure. It comes into effect if one or more registered persons are unable to travel or have to leave early for the following reasons: sudden illness or injury so severe that, from a medical point of view, a stay is not possible, or the death of a first-degree relative. Other reasons are excluded.
If you are unable to travel for one of the above reasons, the cancellation protection will cover you for the resulting cancellation costs, with a 20% excess.
A cancellation or withdrawal is only valid if Südsee-Camp is notified in writing before arrival or before early departure and if appropriate documentation, e.g. a doctor's certificate or death certificate, is submitted within 14 days.
